Each year, Magnolia opens its arms and its doors to thousands of visitors who flock to the Texas Renaissance Festival, which takes place over seven weekends starting in October. When your relatives come to visit, take a day at the festival, then show them the Texas BBQ charm using your Big Green Egg smoker. There is nothing like a pile of ribs after an old world excursion.The Texas Renaissance Festival is an interactive theme park that embraces different eras, including the 16th century and beyond. The 55-acre theater is filled with live entertainment, food, fun and professional actors who stay true to character for eight themed weekends in October and November. There are no swimming pools at the festival, so be sure to invite your friends back to your Magnolia home for a dip in your Doughboy Above Ground Pool afterwards.
